Richard
J. Kulle, President & CEO, has
over 40 years of semiconductor industry experience, including leadership roles as
Chairman of Temic Semiconductors' Discrete Components Division
of Daimler-Benz, President & CEO of Siliconix, board
member of Temic Semiconductors, and Operations Manager
at General Electric. Kulle has extensive experience in
building and operating cost-effective silicon wafer fabrication,
assembly and test facilities in the United States, Southeast Asia,
Mexico, Germany, Austria, Taiwan and China. His success in
managing cross-cultural operations is the driving force
in GEM Services' mission to provide full turnkey
services for the Power Semiconductor Industry. Kulle holds a
BS in Operations Management and Industrial Engineering
from Syracuse University.
Anthony
Chia, Chief Operations Officer, is
a veteran of more than 30 years in the semiconductor industry. His background
includes over 20 years of experience in all areas of semiconductor
manufacturing with over 15 years in international management
assignments in the U.S., Mexico, Taiwan, the Philippines,
and China. Prior to joining GEM Services, Chia set up and
later managed Simconix, a joint venture between Siliconix
and the Shanghai Institute of Metallurgy. He also has operations
experience with General Electric in the United States and
Mexico. Chia holds a BSc from Singapore University.
Dr. Anthony
Tsui, Executive VP, Quality and Tecnology, has over 25 years of semiconductor engineering and manufacturing experience.
He has held key positions in many aspects of the industry, including advanced device design
and wafer process development, package development, manufacturing, product engineering and quality management.
Dr. Tsui has extensive experience managing engineering and manufacturing facilities around the world including
USA, Taiwan, PRC, Japan, the Philippines, South Korea, Singapore and Malaysia. Prior to joining GEM Services,
he has been employed at many market-leading power semiconductor companies including Philips, Siliconix and Fairchild Semiconductor.
Dr. Tsui holds a Master's degree from Brunel University, London and a Phd. from Bradford University, England.
Yu-Fu Lin, Vice President of Finance,
has many years of experience in cross-border technology company financing.
Prior to joining GEM Services, Yu-Fu was a member of East West Bank (EWB). His positions include managing the Technology
Banking Group of United Commercial Bank (acquired by EWB in 2009) which provided funding for private technology
companies, facilitating multiple successful M&A and IPO events. Yu-Fu has also held positions in the technology banking
team of General Bank and as an investment manager for a Venture Capital fund. He obtained his MBA in finance and
MS degrees from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland,
and BS in International Relationships from National Taiwan University.
